  • Ventilation

The ventilation system is being installed by Cecil Dominey and his crew. It's definitely a challenge with so few places to run duct work in a timber framed house. They managed to work their way through though.

Running the duct work in the basement for distribution to the rest of the house.

Air intake for the kitchen and main floor bathroom.

They managed to get the ductwork in for a bathroom exhaust and fresh air supply for master bedroom and office. It was a challenge to route things to the second floor with all the timber beams and joists in the way but they did it.

Here's the main ventillation unit from Venmar. It's a heat exchanger and dehumidifier. It also looks after all the ventillation for the bathrooms and kitchen so there's no noisy bathroom fans. So far it's been working great.
